On November 11, 1971, he left home with Mr. Faulkner and son, who was Stanley's close friend, to Bedford England, where he attended school for Six months and returned home in the Spring of 1972. Upon his return home, he moved to Bow Island and stayed for three years and attended St, Michaels Catholic School, had he remained in England, had he not returned home, he would have eventually moved with the Faulkner family to Australia. He was a very accomplished athlete and was the captain in every sport he took part in. One friend from Bow Island commented "I was the best until stan came". He was known for his work ethic and one of his first jobs was working with his father at Kainai Industries on the Blood Tribe, There after he worked numerous jobs and was well known to be the best in his field, jobs including Alma homes, Triple E construction and Triple M construction in hanger 1 at Lethbridge airport when they took over, until the year 2000 as the lead hand in the flooring department and where he became good friends with management Gerry Regal and Gary Hamilton the production foremen and remained good friends until his passing. He did construction for Treaty 7 Housing in Lethbridge Alberta and was working for Blood Tribe Housing at the time of his passing. Anyone who knew Stan know how much of a rock and roller he was and had a passion for entertaining and stealing the show while making special cameos with other bands and loved to collaborate with other musicians. Stan had his own band titled "Ruckus" that consisted of himself, Jim First Rider, Darcy Big Throat, Ian Wadsworth, Terrell Tail Feathers and Shawn Reevis from 1998 to 2010 he would help other musicians by renting his sound equipment out for gigs. He had a love for travelling and when his oldest daughter Kelly Blue was living in Portland, Oregon he would drive down, usually with Jim First Rider as his "partner in crime" and soak up the scenery and enjoy the trip where he found time to have deep conversations with his first born. He also had the honour of walking his daughter Terry Jane down the isle and giving her away to her husband and said while hugging him "Glad she found you".  He also had the great privilege of witnessing both his younger daughters Shannon and Anna Beth graduate from high school and college and there after beginning their future endeavors as adults. He was extremely proud to have been blessed with his first and only grandson from his admired daughter Shannon, who he was very proud of, to have witness her beat cancer more than once. He absolutely relished in the love of his baby Anna Beth who he encouraged to take after him and leaning to play the guitar, for they both shared the same fascination for music. He was so determined to see her lesson go through, he brought her to every class, purchased her first guitar and would nudge at the idea they would someday form a band. After the passing of his father, Stan continued his father's legacy of cattle ranching and had a herd of cattle that he loved to tend to. Stan was a devoted Catholic and was an extremely friendly, kind, but was also shy and it has been said, that he would have to be spoken to first. He was a very generous man who was always willing to extend a helping hand when needed and known to have a hard time saying no to others when coming to him for help. Stand will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his bright smile and one of a kind hair style, we all know the name for and, his presence will forever be irreplaceable and will live on through the stories, memories and in the hearts of all who knew him, especially his siblings, children and grandchildren. We apologize for any friends or family that may have not been mentioned.
