In the loving memory of, Jeremy Black who passed suddenly on June 22, 2022, at the age of 26. Jeremy was born September 21, 1995, in Calgary, Alberta to Chasity Daniels and Theron Black (Hunt).
Jeremy loved big, He laughed hard, and his compassion was unmeasurable. It was hard not to gravitate towards Jeremy because of his gregarious demeanor. Jeremy was a natural born athlete, who played in a variety of sports such as, baseball, basketball, and boxing. When Jeremy Graduated from high school, he continued his education journey and carried his passion in Professional Cooking at SAIT Polytechnic, but he had a PhD in fashion because of his impeccable style. Jeremy was an especially protective uncle-dad to his three nephews Jacoby, Springer, and Cruz. Jacoby would love rubbing his head and cuddles on the couch. While Springer would jump and climb on Jeremy anytime, anywhere. Jeremy and Cruz would bicker until someone would start crying. His love for them was unconditional!!
A son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, and Grandson. Jeremy you were our protector, warrior, and our strength you were a piece that completed our family now we are forever amiss. Apart of our hearts will forever be missing. "I like you for always, I love you forever."

"I could never have a day off from cooking with Jeremy home, I was lying in bed one time, and he came in and asked if I was sick, Hurt or broken? Why was there no dinner on the table? I looked at him and he started to laugh because he knew I would get up and cook for him. My heart, my love, my soul, my being I will forever be proud to call you, my baby."- Momma
"Jeremy did a lot of crazy things, one time we were playing a game of spoons: good ole spoons. Someone would yell "DONKEY" he would shove all the spoons away so that we were left to fight for them. You guys are right wicked when you play spoons."-Raini
"We were all in the back yard rallying a volleyball around when someone set the ball a bit too far back. Jeremy, being the hero that he is, went for the ball to keep the game alive. During his save he backflipped onto the coffee table, feet in the air and everything. Continued playing and someone said, "Do you spell something spicy?" here Jeremy had pizza sauce on his butt! We were like fire and water with each other but loved each other so much at the end of the day. I love you and I will miss you - Princess
"My favorite memory is when we went to chucky cheese. I got super excited because of the arcade place but suddenly we turned around and Jeremy burst out laughing and said don't worry Jayrol me and you will there next time."-Jayrol
"MOM! Juanita put her Cree magic on me!" is what Jeremy would usually say when he got hurt. Like that one time he was jumping on the trampoline with Springer and Jeremy fell through. It was never a dull moment with you. You took a piece of everyone's heart, including mine. Love you Jeremy/Meme/Brother." - Juan
"One day I was super tired, and we were watching a movie. I was laying on my mom and Jeremy was sitting on a chair, and he randomly said I have a black tooth. I started to cry and ran upstairs to my room. I heard him saying from downstairs "I'm just playing, what I did?" I loved him with all my heart." - Cruz
"September 2015 - World Series in Lethbridge, my greatest moment was playing ball with Jeremy w/Stacked. We were in the dumps; bats weren't working, and our D was off. Jeremy came out explosive when we needed it most. He pumped our team and we pulled it together, his wicked batting and Defensive skills, his laughter, competitive spirit, and his love for the game I love you champ; our family now has an angel in the outfield"- Heather
