The family of Dr. Billy J.V. Hover regrets to inform you of his death on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. He was 96 years old.

Dr. Hover graduated from School of Dentistry, Loma Linda University in 1962, and then practiced in Lethbridge until his retirement in 1992.

He is survived by his daughter, Billie Jean Hover, his son, Dr. John Vincent Hover, his grandson, Dr. Shayne Hover, his granddaughter, Shamyne Dumouchel, and four great-granddaughters.

Dr. Hover is being cremated, and his ashes, along with the ashes of his wife Donna, who died in the year 2009, together will be interred at a later date. There to sleep in the Lord until the second coming of Jesus Christ.

The service will be private, just for family.

Sorry for your loss. Your father was a very talented dentist and he did dental work for me in about 1968. A few of my family also became his customers.

We met Dr. Hover numerous times over the years, as in 2010 we purchased one of the homes that he owned and built. He was such a nice man. I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him. Condolences to his family.
