BILL TYMENSEN, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Myrna, passed away peacefully, with family by his side at the St. Michael’s Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the age of 94 years.

Bill was born in Leusden, Holland to Roel and Geurtje Tymensen on December 4, 1930. He immigrated to Canada in July 1953 to marry the love of his life, Myrna. They shared 72 happy years together.

Bill’s ambition, hard work, and dedication paved the way for him to own a successful business.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was very proud to serve as the Master of the Fourth Degree for Alberta and the Northwest Territories. He was dedicated to his faith and spent many hours volunteering with the church.

Bill was a kind and generous man with a great sense of humour. He was very social and spent countless hours with family and friends playing cards, dancing, bowling, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed spending time in his yard, tending to the flowers or watching the birds. Bill and Myrna enjoyed travelling and visited many places around the world.

Bill treasured time with his family, and we will hold close the wisdom and guidance he shared with us. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
