MRS. BESSIE LILLIAN ADSHEAD, beloved wife of the late Frank R. Adshead of Lethbridge, AB, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Frances Seaman of Lethbridge; close nephews Barry and Denny Morgan, many nieces and nephews and special friends Donetta and Doug Hancock. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, one sister Louise May Morgan and three brothers, Juan, Herbie and Frank Bullis. Bessie spent all her working years selling men’s and boy’s wear; six years at Kresge’s and fifteen at Eaton’s. The last seven years was at the Sear’s mail order. After retiring she spent time fishing, trailering and craft making. Bessie volunteered many hours knitting toque’s for babies at the hospital. She leaves to mourn her nieces, nephews and friends. A private Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME with Major Glen Habkirk officiating. Interment to follow in Archmount Cemetery.
