PETER J. BENE, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 91 years.
PETER J. BENE, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 91 years.
Besides his beloved wife Sharon, Peter will be greatly missed by his children: Rick (Marianne), Carrie (Pat), Tamie and Todd (Marnee), as well as one grandson, six granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, 15 great-grandsons and numerous cousins and fur grand babies.
He was predeceased by his parents Peter Sr. & Juliane Bene and his brother Alex Bene.
As a child, Peter lived in Gelenes, Hungary. The family moved to Southern Alberta in 1939. Peter and Sharon raised their children on the family farm where they all loved to be until Peter and Sharon retired to Lethbridge. Peter and Sharon loved to dance the night away.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Bob Wallace officiating. After the reception there will be a Graveside Service at Mountain View Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be made in Peter's name to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Lethbridge: CMHA Alberta South Region, 426 - 6 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2C9.
