MARY VERONICA BEDARD, passed away peacefully with her daughter Dianne by her side, at the age of 95 years at the Chinook Regional Hospital, after a very brief illness.
Mary is survived by her daughters Dianne (Larry) Tomie and Shirley (Jim) Winning. As well, she leaves to mourn her passing, her grandchildren, Donald (Lynn) Tomie, Anastasia (Robert) Barrett, Morgan Kavanagh, Jacquie, Joanna and Jay Lee Bedard. Mary has four great grandchildren - Isadora Barrett , Kaylene, Sienna and Patton Bedard. Mary also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. Mary’s life revolved around her children and her home. In her spare time she was passionate about her flowers and garden. She was also a member of St. Basil’s C.W.L. She was predeceased by her husband, George, her son Randy and her son-in-law Larry. Also her parents Peter & Magdalene, her brothers Andrew, Joseph, George, and her sisters Anna, Elizabeth, Magdalene and Margaret. Mary will be remembered as a shy, caring lady with a smile that said everything. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604-13th Street North, Lethbridge on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Tim Boyle, Celebrant.
