BEATRICE BIG SWALLOW - MIISTAMOOH KSI KSISSKSTAKAAKII, beloved wife of Donald Big Swallow of The Blood Reserve, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the age of 73 years.
Besides her loving husband she is survived by her children; Pat (Delia) Twigg; Cindy Plaited Hair; Monica (Eric) Plaited Hair; Leslie (Delores) Big Swallow; Collette Big Swallow; Dorothy (John) Big Swallow; Delores (Curtis) Calf Robe; Lucille Big Swallow; Albert Big Swallow; Curtis (Lisa) Big Swallow, Kiipiitaapookaks; Troy Emery Twigg; Angie (Ken) Creighton; Bradly (Michelle) Big Swallow, siblings; Theresa Plume; Mary Twigg; Andrew (Joanne) Twigg, sister-in-law; Eva Hind Bull; Adopted children; Real, Dewey and Jack Hind Bull, Sandra, Merlin, Brian, Clifford, Alvin and Lester Twigg, Lenora Many Fingers, Sally English, Veronica Calf Robe, Molly Davis, Kim Scout, Hannah Plaited Hair, Bobby Weasel Head, Ruby Medicine Crane, Danny Healy, Shirley Tall Man and Lance Wadsworth; 44 grandchildren and 62 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her Father James Twigg Sr. in 1973 and Mother Lucy Margaret Rosa Twigg in 1987, Son Donald Twigg in 2008, Grandson Michael Big Swallow in 2008, Adopted Son Kobin Bull Shields, Brothers; Jim/Celina Twigg, Albert/Philomena Twigg and Eugene/Evelyn Twigg, Brother In Law Dean Plume, Sisters; Ada/Dan Weasel Moccasin, Kathleen/Raymond Young Pine and Margaret/Morris Hind Bull, in laws; Pete/Ada Weasel Moccasin Sr., Paula Vielle, Allan Hind Bull, Eddie Big Swallow and Ben Big Swallow.
A Family Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB., on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M.
A Wake Service will be held at WHITE CALF CHAPEL, Stand Off, AB., on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6:00 to 11:00 P.M.
A Funeral Service will be held at ST. MARY’S IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, Stand Off, AB. on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Pawel Andrasz O.M.I. celebrant. Interment to follow at One Spot Cemetery.
