BARBY, IRVIN ALEXANDER

MR. IRVIN ALEXANDER BARBY of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the age of 69 years.

Irvin is survived by his children Michelle Barby and Troy Barby both of Calgary.

He is also survived by a brother Terry (Karen) Barby of Lethbridge, a sister Wyonne Spring of Calgary, as well as nieces, nephews and their families.

Dad was an avid sports fan who particularly enjoyed basketball and golf. A mechanic for AGT and Telus for most of his career, he made sure his vehicles were always running smoothly and in tiptop shape. Dad is now free of the Southern Alberta gale force winds that drove him crazy. Rest in Peace, we will miss you Dad.

A Time of Remembrance will be held at the MEMORIAL HALL in the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, 324 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Irvin’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10th Street South, Lethbridge, AB., T1J 2M7.
