My Deepest condolences to the family of Rose Baran. I had the honor of working in Recreation at St. Therese Villa where I met and became friends with Rose. She always was so kind hearted and considerate to everyone. She was the lady I would go to, to learn about anything baking or cooking, if I needed a bucket of apples peeled, if I needed help making hundreds of lunches for elementary school kids, any musical performance or kids coming in (even if she couldn't hear or see them she still smiled and clapped for them!). Any kind of outing trip, in the front seat she would be, didn't matter the place, she had such an open mind to my crazy ideas. I enjoyed bringing my son into see her after I stopped working at St. Therese and she would have been so thrilled to know I'm expecting another soon! I learned so much about southern Alberta's history from Rose, she was always a good story teller and may she rest those hard worked hands! I know how much she appreciated her family and how much she loved them, she was always so proud to tell me about her children and grandchildren! Prayers of comfort knowing she is in a Beautiful place now.
Godmother and Godfather, it is never easy having to say good bye. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. With love from Carol Wilton, Dan and Ketha Wilton, Rob and Lori Wilton
We are so sorry for the loss of your mother and our Auntie Rosie. It was a privilege and an honor to have known her. We loved her dearly. Wish we could have been there with you but previous plans have made that impossible. We are thinking of you and hope to stop by the farm for a visit one of these days in the near future. Love and prayers, Rick and Marg
