She was born January 28, 1930 in Lethbridge, Alberta. She was raised in Iron Springs and Coaldale, and married Vernon Baker in 1947 at the age of 17 years. They moved to Fernie, BC and then later to Lethbridge. They raised their two children in Picture Butte, where Audrey was an avid golfer and homemaker. Audrey and Vern enjoyed curling, camping and fishing and for several years, spent a lot of time at their cabin in Edwards Lake, BC. When they retired, they moved to Parkbridge Estates, and when Vern passed away, Audrey moved to Black Rock Terrace in Lethbridge, where she was a resident for the last six years.

Audrey is survived by her daughter Carol Little of Edmonton, granddaughters Michelle Vandenberghe and great-granddaughters Myk Vandenberghe and Cassidy Vandenberghe of Edmonton, Grandson Scott Anonson of Edmonton, son Donald (Gwen) Baker of Coaldale, granddaughter Robbie Moore (Darryl) and great-grandchildren Ellis Moore and Sloane Moore of Lethbridge.

Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Vernon, parents, seven brothers and sisters and granddaughter Kally Baker. Audrey always loved talking on the phone to her good friends, family and grandchildren and seeing her great-grandchildren.

Don and Gwen want to thank her niece Karen Row, who was so caring and giving of her time, love and compassion through the past six years. Also, thank you to the staff of Black Rock Terrace.

Audrey's wishes were to be cremated and ashes spread with Vernon's.

In memory of Audrey, donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation (https://hsf.donorportal.ca) or to the CNIB (https://snib.donorportal.ca) as Audrey spent most of her last year vision impaired.
