Dixon, Amanda

AMANDA DIXON was born on October 7th 1981 at Rutherglen Maternity to Sophia and Jim. Amanda was an amazing big sister, cousin and Auntie but most of all she was the best mother to Abbie and Samantha.

Amanda led a fabulous life which really began when she moved to Canada in her 20’s and met the love of her life Scott. Once Amanda and Scott met, they were inseparable and built a loving caring home for family and friends where the door was always open and everyone was welcome. Anyone who visited was sure to be fed as she loved to cook for everyone.

Amanda found a new passion in life when she started working for Ritchie Brothers and excelled at this calling in life and took great pride in the fact, she was 5’5 and driving a machine with wheels that were bigger than her (and she was amazing at it).

Amanda had no fear in life and believed you should always try everything once and live life to the fullest. She loved a good night out with family and friends and was the life and soul of the party, she might not have been the first to arrive due to making sure her hair was perfect but she was definitely the last to leave.

Amanda and Scotts little slice of heaven was at the RV at Daisy May Campsite in Fort Macleod, where she couldn’t wait for Friday to come so she could get packed up to go camping or glamping as the girls would call it.

I would like to send a special heartfelt thank you to everyone including family and friends for their love and support in this difficult chapter in our lives and would like to extend this special thanks to the Marsh’s, Mick and Barb also Love Scott and the girls.

A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2825 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00 P.M.
