Allan was predeceased by son Joe, parents Annie and Joseph and numerous brothers and sisters.
Allan spent many years in agriculture. He managed the Taber Seed Cleaning Plant for 18 years. He was very proud of his many achievements and awards he received for his hard work during this time. He retired in 1992.
Allan was an avid gardener. His tomato and gladiolus plants were second to none. He cherished good friendships and was always ready to skunk anyone at a game of crib. He loved making his delicious bread pudding. Allan enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and taking Ann on road trips to see their family and friends. He was always building things for the house and garden. Later in life he enjoyed building miniature houses, grain elevators and farms. He was a kind and generous friend to all and has left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 St. South, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday July 27th, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation in his name.
