MABEL R. ALKERTON, beloved wife of Gerald Alkerton, passed away in Lethbridge, Alta., on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023, at the age of 92 years.
MABEL R. ALKERTON, beloved wife of Gerald Alkerton, passed away in Lethbridge, Alta., on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023, at the age of 92 years.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Gerald; children: Cindy McKibbon (Reg), Ken Alkerton (Agnes), Greg Alkerton (Noy), Herb Alkerton (Brenda), her grandchildren: Gerry, Guy, Danielle, Sean, Jeremy, Olivia, Harley and Hannah, as well as great-grandchildren.
Mabel was a five-year member of the RCAF.
A celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home on a date to be determined. Due to family members living and being posted in many areas, the service will be held at a date TBD in the summer of 2024.
In memory of Mabel, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
