Mom was born and raised near Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.

Mom was born and raised near Duck Lake, Saskatchewan.

Mom and Dad were married in 1948 and they lived in Vermillion, Kyle, and North Battleford, before settling in Saskatoon to raise their family, and later, moving to Lethbridge.

Mom loved all crafts but especially crocheting, knitting, stained glass, quilting and pottery; she was a member of the Lethbridge Potters Guild for many years.

Mom and Dad spent 18 winters being snowbirds in Arizona, which they both thoroughly enjoyed.

Mom loved to garden, cook and bake; her homemade bread and cinnamon buns were her specialty.

Mom is survived by her three children: Judy (Syd) Onysko, Gary (Lori) McLachlan and Cathy (Don) Clark; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild: Monique (Phil) Hansen; Breanna (Mike, Hayes) Hauser; Justine (Ryan Arndt); Zoie (Jordan Boisvert); Derek (Jen, Connor, Grady) Onysko: Devon (Andrew, Benjamin, Julie) Thorsen; Kelly (Michael Perras, Lincoln, Cashton) McLachlan; Cara (Brandon, Asher, Ella, Ace) Holden; Megan (Jimmy Thomson) Clark; Drew (Natalie, Hadley, Lennon) Clark.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Clifford McLachlan, her parents, siblings, and sisters and brothers-in-law.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Michael’s PARP and Palliative Care Units, as well as the staff at Seasons Retirement Home.

A private family Interment will be held at a later date.

Alice was a truly gifted potter and an even more remarkable woman. Her creativity, warmth, and generosity touched so many of us in the ORPG community. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the beauty she created and the lives she shaped.
