With Heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved, brother, uncle, son, nephew, CEECEE JUNIOR ACROSS THE MOUNTAIN-II STA PAKKANA -FLYING STAR,  born November, 14, 1992, and passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 29 years. 

CeeCee is survived by his parents Gilbert & Kathy Across The Mountain And His biological parents Clarence Crane Chief & the late Jennifer Across The Mountain and his lifetime best friend Donovan Luke.

CeeCee loved being outdoors he enjoyed playing sports soccer, and baseball. He was a happy kid who loved his family and his nieces & nephews, he was an amazing artist he loved drawing native portraits. In his free time, he enjoyed playing basketball, hanging out with his cousins and his friends. He had a big heart and was very caring. He liked to meet new people. He loved to joke around and laugh, and he just loved to be with his family. Every time we visit friends that had pets or little kids, they got so attached to CeeCee as if they had known him for years. Kids and animals loved CeeCee a lot, as did with whomever crossed paths with him. 

CeeCee will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Left to mourn his passing are his siblings; Nicole Across The Mountain (Joey Whiteman), Heather Across The Mountain (Jay), Vanessa Good Dagger, Melanie Across The Mountain (Tyler Young Pine), Crystal Across The Mountain (his twin), Charlotte Crying Head (Jr Black Plume) and Chelsea Across The Mountain (Marcus); his nieces and nephews Robert Across The Mountain, Logan Across The Mountain, J'lynn Across The Mountain, Marie McKay, Hunter White Quills, Blake Across The Mountain, Jacinta Oka, Xzavier Oka, Bronzer Across The Mountain and Autumn Across The Mountain; aunties Kathy & Verna Across The Mountain and Wanda Crane Chief; great uncle Martin (Elizabeth) Viell; great aunties, Margaret (Ron) Across The Mountain, Evelyn (Patrick) Across The Mountain, Christine (Melvin) White Man, Melanie (Alvin) and Mary-Ann (Les) Across The Mountain; numerous relatives; Across The Mountain, Crane Chiefs, Eagle Child, Black Plumes, Wolf Plumes, Hunts, Calf Robes, Crazy Bulls, Mountain Horse's, Steeles, Long Time Squirrels, Bad Mans, Hind Bulls, Vielle's and Big Swallows. The family apologies for any names missed.

A Wake will be held at STREETS ALIVE, 323 - 4 Street South, Lethbridge, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ken Kissick officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Standoff.
