Mark Brandon

Mark was raised on his family’s farm near Hays, Alberta and graduated from Vauxhall High School in 1982. He tried a few careers, but none felt right to him until he was able to assist at a funeral home. He quickly found his passion for helping those grieve the loss of a loved one and has now been a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 30 years. His interest in the funeral industry was strengthened furthermore after taking a Life Appreciation course, which taught him how to even better support others. Aside from that, he began a second career as an optician and is currently the Optical Manager at Costco in Lethbridge. Mark is married to his wife, Florence and together have three sons; Harland, Donavon and Lane. In his spare time, Mark enjoys photography, camping and traveling.
