Craig began his work with Cornerstone Funeral Home playing guitar in Standoff for many Funerals and Wake services. He welcomed the opportunity to become a Funeral Attendant. When required, Craig helps families that have suffered a loss on the Blood Reserve. His knowledge of the customs and traditions of the people and ability to understand and speak Blackfoot fluently are an integral part of Cornerstone Funeral Home Native Services.
Craig was born in Cardston and raised on a ranch on the Blood Indian Reserve. He is married to Roxanne and they have two children, Kale and Makiesha. Craig and his family have an acreage in Mountainview and together enjoy their hobby, horses and Youth Rodeo.
Craig is a Licensed Practical Nurse and works with Homecare in Standoff and with Alberta Health Services at the Cardston Health Centre. He completed his LPN program through Bow Valley College and a Management Certificate in Health Services through the Canadian Health Care Association in Ottawa, ON. Craig and his family are dedicated to their churches and communities and Craig also works for Immaculate Conception Parish in Standoff as their bookkeeper and teaches Aboriginal Spirituality at FCJ Christian Life Centre in Calgary. RoxanneDay Chief works in Recreation Therapy at the Cardston Hospital. Cornerstone is proud to have Craig working with them and honored to serve First Nations People.
